If we really are hell-bent, so to speak, and desire to stay on the wheel of samsara for uncountable births to come, then, according to our karmas, we may suffer or enjoy. If we truly desire God and an end to material suffering, then the Lord personally takes charge of our life and benedicts us with liberation.
